Fireworks Over Des Moines

Family Friendly Weekend of fun in celebration of the 4th of July Independence Day.  This is a community event and donations are gladly welcomed at all of the points of entry to the marina.  It takes over $40,000 in cash donations and in-kind service donations to make this event happen every year.

Due to construction at the Des Moines Marina, there will be NO PARKING in the north parking lot at the Des Moines Marina.  Also, city officials are limiting the total attendance on the Marina floor to only 300o.

For those that are able to join us on the Marina Floor, there will be food trucks, live music, and a beer/wine garden located near the Harbormaster’s office at Quarterdeck.

DONATIONS: accepted all year and at the entry area to the marina.  You can also help by buying tickets to the Community BBQ which will be July 22, 2022 along with Randy Hansen concert Tickets for the same night at the Beach Park Auditorium.

All bags, purses, strollers, coolers, etc will be checked at all points of entry to the marina by professional staff.
