The Burke Museum simply wouldn’t run without students. They’re involved in almost every facet of the museum, from researching in the collections to building communities of like minded folks to making sure visitors enjoy and learn during their time in the museum. Many of these students got their start working at the old Burke Museum, but every single one of them was instrumental in helping us open the New Burke back in October.
From high school volunteers to undergraduate interpreters to PhD candidates researching in the collections, students make our museum a better, more inclusive place. We are so proud of the Class of 2020 and though we’ll be sad to see them go, we can’t wait to see where they end up!
